How can I reset the administration lock on my power book G4?

My father purchased a few Mac Power Book G4's from his company a few years back and they have these administration locks that we don't know the password to, every time I try and download anything it doesn't let me because we don't know the administration password. So is there anyway I could either get rid of the lock or just change it?

if u have mac cds, u can reset password with them by booting computer with OS X installation disc..
