Apple iBook Clamshell.. Help?

I recently received one of the old 64mb iBook Clamshells and I would really like to upgrade its memory etc but I am unsure how to go about upgrading this old laptop. I am also having trouble connecting it to my broadband (and eventually wireless once it is upgraded) as it is searching for a dial-up tone. As this is quite and "old school" laptop I'd appreciate some help and advice and also even some links to where I can get parts?

802.11 wireless was invented in 1996 - before the advent of the iBook. If your iBook had Apple's Airport as an option, you can install an airport card. Just make sure you get the right one. First generation card is what you need.

Your iBook will not accept OS X. You are stuck with OS 9 or lower (Classic). Unfortunately, I don't remember how to set it to use Broadband or wireless in OS 9. Check Low End Mac (link below) to get help and find other web sites for help with your vintage Mac.
