should i get this mac? Do you think it's too old now?

I can't afford a new laptop but i might buy a mac g4. What do you think?

It's a bit old but if it is in good shape, it'll be fine. The one you say is almost identical to the one my wife uses daily and she has had no problems with it (web research, photo stuff, word processing). Check the condition of the battery and check the price on places like the used Mac dealers on lowendmac.com. There was a recall on some of the batteries maybe 4 or 5 years ago, Apple still has the list on its website. If the battery is old or not working well, skip the ones on eBay, more than 70% of them have been found to be frauds & knockoffs.
