I am trying to upgrade my MacBook. I need some advice.?

I have a MacBook 4.1, 2.4 GHz and 2 gigs of ram. I already bought Mac memory from Corsair so it will be 4 gigs. Now I also want to upgrade to a 320 gig hard drive but I have two choices. The Western Digital Blue which goes to 5400 rpm or Scorpio black 320 gig with 7200. Now I know that the 7200 RPM is better but will it work if i put it on my MacBook? has anyone tried this?
