what will have a better picture MIni-dvi to S-Video or Mini-dvi to VGA for mac?

I have a macbook 2.4 GHZ intel core 2 duo. with 13 inch screen it is the black macbook model 4,1. i am planning on running some sort or MIni-DVI to tv and am curious to if i should use the VGA adapter or the s-video adapter to the TV for the best picture. WHich will produce better picture for movies and using the TV as a monitor
