Macbook Cdrom
My mac dosent meet the cdrom and I can not reset the password.
I do not give my mac a password, but when macbook to start wantet stil asked me for a password. I tryed to boot from the CD-ROM and reset the password, but you have not worked, there was no change. Now, when I try to boot from cd ... reaktion not, I press C during startup Mac, but dosent respond at all to CD. Is there anything I can do ....?
First try resetting the PRAM at boot time and holding Command + Option + P + R until you hear the startup sound 3 times. Then try to boot with the CD and rsetting password. If not, try booting into single user mode by holding Apple + s at startup. When it starts, type "fsck-fy" without quotes and press Enter to run the utility disk. If you exit with errors, call Apple, but will probably tell you to bring it to a service provider. If it works, try restarting the CD to reset your password. Is there a way to reset the password without a CD, but to call Apple why Id prefer not to put the entire script here, and RC is different depending on which system operational use.
