My macbook just can read a flash-drive?

and I can't save/ erase anything inside it..
is that any other way to set my flashdrive preference so my mac can save on it?

Assuming your flash drive appears in the finder.. I suggest right-click on it, then click the "Get Info". It will open a popup. Look for "Ownership & Permissions".

If it says "You can [Read & Write]" then the problem must be because of bad-format. You should format the flash drive.

If it says "You can [Read only]" then your user account doesnt have enough privileges to write on a flash drive. Contact ur system admin to change the access rights.
