Macbook Hidden Camera
Pictures appear on SD card in camera but not on computer?
I have a Canon PowerShot A610 digital camera and a brand new Lexar 2 GB SD card. I took a lot of pictures on this SD card while I was on vacation (over 700).
When I view my pictures on my camera, I can see all my images and videos fine. But when I try to load my pictures onto my Macbook using an SD card reader, only about 200 of them appear, and the others are on the SD card, but invisible or unreadable.
If I try to go into the sub folders on the SD card where they are supposed to be, it says there is zero KB of space being used in those folders.
So what gives? Why can I view the pictures on my camera, but I can't load them on my computer? Are the invisible ones corrupted or just hidden? I don't think they're corrupted, because I can still view them on my camera. I just can't load them on my computer.

I had the same problem with my powershot sd880. I can see the photos in the camera, but not once i put the memory card in my computer. Instead of taking the card out, i used that av wire or whatever its called on the side with the USB cable and was able to retrieve the pictures. If you have that cable thing, you might try. Good luck.
