Adding RAM to MacBook 3,1: Does that boost my graphics card memory?

I have a MacBook 3,1 (Santa Rosa) with the Intel GMA X3100.

Currently I have 2x 1GB sticks totaling 2GB of main memory (DDR2)
My current VRAM is 144MB total.

I know that the VRAM is "shared" with the main memory, so what I am asking is if I increase my RAM from 2GB to 4GB will I also increase my total VRAM? and therefore increase my graphics performance?

VRAM is Different from the main memory, if u upgrade the Main Ram your system Performance will increase but u r graphic Performance will remain the same so better update VRAM by taking it to MAC service center but most of the Laptops will not have option to upgrade VRAM, so better u find a new laptop
