Help .... someone tried to steal my computer and destroyed it?

I bought a MacBook Pro and while I was the library that someone tried to steal. I had a cable lock attached to it and just retired. I finally get my computer back, but has a lot of damage to it. Alum was broken when attachment blocking. "I can get this fixed or am I screwed? It's like a 3-inch section missing on the side of ... I wonder if there is any way to buy a new shell and transferred parts inside .... someone has an idea ... I just paid $ 2,000 for this laptop so I have to try to save
