How do i update me video card with the latest drivers?

I just downloaded Spore on my Macbook Pro, but i was very disappointed when I couldn't play it. I have a NVIDIA 9400m. Please help!!
ok, so now I know how to update my video card but how exactly do I change the details and settings?
I think I forgot to say that it is a Geforce 9400m if that makes any difference
.
I know that there are drivers on NVIDIA.com but they are all for PC... how do I get a driver update for mac os x?

Did you check your Software Update? if that didnt turn anything try using this driver from apple: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/drivers/nvidiaquadrofx4800evgagtx285.html

If that doesnt work you most likely have the latest graphics driver (as Software Update would tell you otherwise if you didnt) and are SOL

As for changing the settings if you are referring to changing the 3D, vectoring, and other advanced settings like you can on windows you cant on the mac... only reason you can on windows is because ATI/NVidia have written their own configuration software for windows to do this... they dont have any for mac other than the drivers.
If you mean just changing the basic settings like resolution its under Preferences -> Displays
