I can not choose a laptop?

Well firstly I do not know much about computers, I can use it and everything, all specifications, I have learned that is not basic. Here is my problem, I really liked the Macbook, but I do not think my needs as I need costs 1200 U.S. dollars or less and not white, so they end up spending in 1499 for the black Macbook, which is more I think I need at this time. This is what I'll use the computer, I have a computer desktop, but I want a laptop that you replace that. I use it for storage of pictures, I would launch the new standard in Office 2008 for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Entourage. Presentations of the work I do once or twice a year. Other one I use for browsing email, and that's it. I do not play for the graphics are not important. I do not need a webcam or pre-installed. I want something light and easy to transport. I would like to spend less in 1000. What brand and what features would you recommend?

Choose MacBook, and you can do almost everything. that can also run the Windows operating system is truly amazing. I like Mac, and not subject to viruses, have the best graphics, fast interface, and does not hang or freeze easily. The downside is that you pay more for the Blackbook. but I think it really worth it. Mac many functions of Windows that does not work. As I said before, you can run Windows if you can do much more in a mac. Microsoft is able to operate Office, and has launched the new office, is not a problem for you. You may not need a webcam, but is really addictive Photobooth, love cool effects. anyway, as you mentioned ever owning a PC is so much change and buy a Mac is really great.
