Can you put laptop ram into a Macbook Pro?

I have an Acer Laptop and I want to remove the Ram and put it into my macbook pro. Is this safe?

RAM is RAM. It will work in a PC or a MAC as long it has the same specs. All you have to know first is whether or not the RAM in the Acer laptop is the same speed (400, 667 MHz, etc) as the Mac. If it is, it should work just fine.
