how do i fix my photo booth affects on my macbook?

everytime i take a photo with an affect it will freeze and X out. than a problem report will come up and say photo booth unexpectedly quit. and it will say to reopen and i did and it still dosn't work.

there may be something wrong with drivers extensions of program, or corrupt files,
may have to reinstall software for webcam or iSight photobooth software,

if you added any webcam extras, diable those, and try program again, could be simple glitch, try restart computer as well, do not re-install Apple OS , only the program for photobooth,
