Macbook Speakers Blown
No sound on my Macbook Pro?
I've been struggling with my Macbook Pro for a few weeks, the sound will not work at all!
I'm waiting until this weekend to take it to a professional but wanted to get your take on it.
I've tried fiddling around with system preferences -nothing. I've tried plugging in headphones -nothing!
I've heard about sticking a toothpick in the headphone jack if there is a red light, but there isn't a red light.
What do you think is the problem? I don't think it's something like blown speakers since plugging in the headphones doesn't work either.
Of course I've done that also.
One thing you don't list here is pressing the key to turn up the volume.
