What Programs Does A MacBook Come Standard With?

i was wondering if it came with like photo editing software, video editing software and audio/music editing software.

and if so, is it any good, or would it be better buying extra software for it?

Yes. Macs come standard with video editing software. If you want photo editing software, there are plenty of free open source programs that might meet your needs there, also. For audio/music editing software, you can use Garage Band. However if you want the latest version, you have to pay like $75. However, every Mac comes with iMovie HD, and I still use it for video editing.

I suggest buying iLife '09 and iWork '09. I own iLife '09. And, I use iWork '08. If you upgrade to iLife '09, you get the newest version of iMovie and Garageband. These are the ones you'll need. But, I have found that the old iMovie HD is better than iMovie '09. In fact, I still use iMovie HD instead of iMovie '09. And so, you may not even need to upgrade if you're only doing a little video editing. I also suggest buying Toast Titanium 10. It's excellent for burning DVDs, Audio CDs and Blue-ray discs etc...
