Notebook Computer Sale Should I buy one?

Hello I am a senior in high school, so I intend to buy a computer portable to any university, I'm going next year. I am like great architecture. Today, I'm not sure that buying a laptop tomorrow Black Friday is one or June 2009 will save me many dollars. If I'm better to have one, this notebook I've done, given the fact that I will major in architecture. Finally, What is so good in the Mac book that makes many artists / designers buy thesedays people. Macbook I thought the prices were a bit exaggerated.

Specializing in architecture, you must find the programs out there that can must have software that meets your needs. What I would like to check to see what the school uses what is referred to in software. Verification requirements and ensure you get a laptop that meets these minimum requirements. Preferably you want something that transcends them. Then, of course, be provided with the software or you need to buy a discount rate for students of the situation. If schools use Macs, Mac then it may be, but the use of the PC I'm assuming it will be when it should be a PC, you save money, but get the features you need.
