Im having problems with my macbook! Help!?

The other day I opened my computer and it has been cut. I continued to try to revive and continued and then stops trying. I connected and it worked very well. seems to be good for a few days and does the same thing today. Now you can not disconnect or die. What is possible? is Mac OS X version 10.5.8 2.4 GHz and 4 GB Thanks! I forgot to mention that it is fully charged

Battery is loved up. This happens with all rechargeable batteries over time. At the age of the battery, you may be able to obtain a free replacement. Go> Applications> System Tools.
