How do I get redness from healed pimples to fade more quickly?

Whenever one of my pimples heals, it leaves a light red spot. It's easy to cover up because it's flat, but it's just irritating seeing it there. I'm extremely fair-skinned (as white as the MacBook I'm using!) so it sticks out a lot. How can I get to fade?

DO NOT USE TOOTHPASTE it is a big risk even if you have tough skin it can still make you break out in a rash just keep it clean and use lotion or skin cleanser and moisturizer.
